The past Friday witnessed a bunch of films releasing at the same time including the big-ticket film ZERO. Besides this Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, other films like KGF, Maari 2, Antariksham, Adanga Maru, Padi Padi Leche Manasu and many other films hit the marquee giving audiences many choices to pick their flick for the weekend. And winning many hearts at the box office is Yash s KGF which is on a rage at the box office. KGF is now the first Kannada film to clock more than $400,000 at the US box office and stands tall amongst the releases on Friday. KGF is the first Kannada film to do clock $400,000 in less than five days from the release date. In Telugu and Tamil, KGF has been doing very well and clocked a little over Rs 15 crore in Chennai city. KGF is now being termed as the winner amongst the films that released on December 21st, 2018.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF is the first chapter and the second one is expected to hit the cinema halls by end of 2019. KGF has Yash playing a ruthless gangster who rules the gold fields in Kolar which was once the mafia of gold mining in early 80s. in Hindi too KGF has been having a great run and lead actor Yash is receiving huge appreciation for his portrayal as the gangster.
