OFFICIAL! Nani will team up with director Vikram K Kumar for his next – all deets inside

There were speculations that Nani would team up with Manam and Ishq director Vikram K Kumar after wrapping up him current film Jersey. An official announcement about this has been now made. Nani and Vikram K Kumar will join hands for their next which will be bankrolled by Rangasthalam producers Mythri Movie Makers. The announcement was made today via social media and the film is yet to be titled. What has caught the attention of everyone is the special mention about the film being specially for girls. Going by the announcement, it is being expected that the film will be a romantic genre and will have a special Vikram K Kumar tinge to it. This yet untitled will go on shooting floors from February 2019 and will be Nani's 24th film of his career. The visuals of this film will be cranked by veteran PC Sreeram who has worked with Vikram in the past.

Nani is shooting for his upcoming film Jersey which is being directed by Malli Raava director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film also stars Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath and will be her debut in Telugu cinema. Jersey is said to be a sports drama and will have cricket as the backdrop. Nani was last seen in multi-starrer Devadas which also starred Akkineni Nagarjuna. Devadas did some decent business at the box office.

On the other hand, Vikram K Kumar last directed Hello which featured Akhil Akkineni and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role. Hello marked the debut of Kalyani, daughter of veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, in films. It was being speculated that Vikram will team up with Allu Arjun but the project did not work out for unknown reasons.
