Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are now Man and Wife in all rights but it hasn't sunk in yet. But then one looks at their wedding album, pictures of her white wedding gown by Ralph Lauren and the red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee and nothing looks more real. It truly couldn't have been better but then Nick wiped a tear after seeing his bride walk towards him and did the impossible. Let's just say it was they looked like a dream come true, a magical one at that! But amidst all the wishes and love, there was one nasty stub that spoiled it for us all. If you haven't caught the drift we are talking about the viral and now-deleted article by The Cut which called PeeCee a 'Scam artist.' Apologies for repeating that but the audacity still baffles us. And we are not alone. Even the diva's mother, Madhu Chopra was bewildered. Having said that, she has the best reaction to the entire charade. According to a Mid-day report, she said, "It is a happy phase for our family, and we don't want to be disturbed by such idiotic things. I am happy that my daughter is married to someone she truly loves. I don't want to give publicity to those fools. There are some donkeys who do anything they feel like, but their actions don't affect us."
Earlier Priyanka had herself addressed the elephant in the room and had voiced her feelings about the article where she had rightly said, "I don t even want to react or comment. It s not even in my stratosphere. I m in a happy place at this moment. This kind of random things can t disturb it." Not just her, the entire fam including brother-in-law Joe Jonas lent her support by describing the article as "disgusting". Joe's girlfriend Sophie Turner also took to Twitter and wrote, "This is wildly inappropriate. Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bullshit."
