The big clash of 2019 is reportedly going to be between Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. Buzz is that Khan is now eyeing a Christmas release for his cop-drama instead of Kick 2. According to a DNA report, since the script of Dabangg 3 has been locked, he intends to start shooting for it from April. "Initially, Bhai thought of starting Chulbul Pandey s third outing last September, while Bharat is also under production. But, since that film spans across many decades and consequently see him sporting different looks, he eventually decided to complete it before beginning Dabangg 3," a source informed the leading daily.
While his film, Bharat is scheduled for Eid release this year, Salman Khan is vouching for the Christmas weekend release for Dabangg 3. The reports suggest that Khan is planning to release the third installment of Dabangg on December 20, the date which was earlier booked for Kick 2. However, since the script of Kick sequel is yet to be worked on, the actor chose to go with his cop-drama.
Interestingly, it is being reported that the makers of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra have decided to release the film on December 20 as well. That means Brahmastra is likely to clash with Dabangg 3 this Christmas. An official announcement from either of the two parties will confirm that the biggest clash of 2019 between Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan.
