Kedarnath box office collection day 2: Sushant - Sara's film witnesses a good jump, collects Rs 17 crore

After taking a healthy start on its opening day, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan's Kedarnath witnessed a good growth on its second day at the ticket windows. The pilgrimage love story earned Rs 9.75 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 17 crore. Looking at the current scenario, we are expecting the film earn around Rs 28 crore in its first weekend at the box office.

 

Despite facing stiff competition from Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth's 2.0, the film has garnered great footfalls, which clearly indicates that the content of Kedarnath has strike the chord with the audience. The film, produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP and Abhishek Kapoor's Guy In the Sky Pictures, tells the love story of a pithoo and a pilgrim amidst the wrath of nature as the holy place drowns in flood.
