Ishqbaaaz is one of the most popular shows of Indian television and ever since it went on air, it has just garnered more and more appreciation worldwide. The sizzling chemistry of Anika (Surbhi Chandna) and Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) never failed to make it to the headlines and even the interesting plotline kept the audience at the edge of their seats. It is a show that is a complete package of different emotions from drama and romance to mystery and comedy. The stellar cast gave all the reasons to viewers to fall in love with them and the show. But lately, it lost its charm among the small screen audience and slowly went missing from the BARC list. However, this didn t affect the show s popularity on social media platforms. So, the makers decided to take the show to the next level. But the subsequent exit of Surbhi and the rest of the beloved cast invited a lot of backlash from the fans. Only Nakuul will stay back and while this didn't go well with the fans, the makers are firm on their decision. Gul Khan has already announced that season 1 is about to end and that the next season will begin soon. Any guesses for when it will start?
Reports suggest that the generation leap will start from December 17. Nakuul will continue playing Shivaansh Singh Oberoi, Shivaay and Anika s son in the show. Rumour mills are abuzz that debutante Manjiri has been roped in as the female lead and will romance Nakuul in his new role. Nakuul and Surbhi shot for the leap promo recently and the newcomer is soon going to join the team.
