2.0 is the first film in Indian cinema to have been completely shot in 3D. Rajinikanth is seen playing quadruple roles in this film and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is seen playing the evil force in the plot. 2.0 is said to have a social message about conserving the nature and environment which is being lauded by audience. Director Shankar, in an interview, had said that the trailer, which was released a while ago, is just a sample of what the film will have and the real stuff is in the film. The makers are urging audience to watch 2.0 in the 3D format only to experience the best cinematic feel ever.
