Amidst the tension involving Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, Prince William and Prince Harry, that s making headlines, it has been reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen godparents for their soon-to-be born baby. A couple of weeks ago, the Kensington Palace announced that Meghan is expecting her first born with Harry. The couple got married in May and were keen on turning parents soon. Following the news, Meghan has been spotted with her growing belly and a pregnancy glow on her face.
While the couple is yet to reveal the gender of the baby, the child s godparents have been revealed. According to Daily Mail, the royal couple have chosen the Clooneys to be their first born s godparents. Who Clooneys? Obviously, THE Clooneys Amal and George Clooney.
Apparently, George's cousin, Ben Breslin, told the UK publication that they have been chosen by the royal couple and added, that he would be a wonderful godfather. I'm all for it. He'd make a wonderful godfather, he'd make a wonderful just about anything - he's a good guy, he told the outlet.
It is also reported that George and Amal, the British human-rights lawyer shares a close bond with Meghan, socialise regularly and even gave Meghan and Harry a crash course on parenting when they visited them in Lake Como soon after their wedding.
A source close to the couple revealed, Amal and Meghan have been close for years, and Harry and George have become buddies because of that. They're much closer than the headlines let on.
Apparently, George told a couple of people he has a strong hunch that he and his wife will be among those who will play an important role in Meghan and Harry s life.
