Ram Charan-starrer Vinaya Vidheya Rama released last Friday and the film has failed to impress the audience turning out to be a dud. With poor reviews and disappointing response from audience, the film hasn t had a great run at the box office too. After receiving a grand opening, the collections on second day and third day declined by great margins adding further to the woes of the makers. Vinaya Vidheya Rama earned a gross collection of Rs 45 crore on release day beating Ram Charan s previous release which raked in Rs 44 crore. However, day 2 turned out to be a dull day at the ticket window with a huge decline in the collections. In Telugu states, day 2 witnessed a collection of approximately Rs 1.5 crore which is now being termed disastrous. Overseas, the film has had a similar run as well and is struggling at the ticket windows.
After delivering a hit like Rangasthalam, there were a lot of expectations from Ram Charan to come up with yet another blockbuster hit but Vinaya Vidheya Rama has clearly disappointed the audience. The movie also stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady who is seen only in songs and some scenes in the plot. The film is shouldered by Ram Charan throughout but tests your patience till the end. Director Boyapati Sreenu is facing a lot of backlash on social media for delivering a dull film like Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
