Fans are extremely DISAPPOINTED by Game of Thrones season 8 promo – here’s why

HEADS UP! THIS ARTICLE HAS A SPOILER

It is no secret that Game of Thrones season 8 will feature some of our favourite characters deaths. Speculations have been all over the internet suggesting which character will get to sit on the throne in the final episode and which character wouldn t make it to the series finale. While we are waiting for the season to premiere in order to speculate further, the new Game of Thrones season 8 promo has hinted at a possibility that -- SPOILER ALERT -- the three Starks could die in the season finale.

If you look at the promo closely, you would see Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) walking through the crypts of Winterfell which houses statues of Ned Stark and Lyanna Stark. As the trailer comes to an end, the trio sees their statues as well, hinting that they could get killed too.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, there is a huge possibility that anything could happen in the last season. The new trailer has also finally confirmed that the first episode of Game of Thrones last season will air on April 14, as against popular speculations that the final season would kick-start most likely in the last weekend of the month.

The two updates broke the internet with fans having a meltdown. While they are going gaga over the confirmed premiere date, they are unable to process the new hint in the promo and are heartbroken that this will be the last time they will be preparing for a season of Game of Thrones. Yes, the realisation has hit us hard it s all ending.
