The trailer of the much-awaited biopic of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy is out now and is going viral in the digital world. Directed by Mahi Raghav, the film is titled Yatra has Mammootty stepping into the shoes of YS Rajasekhara Reddy and the actor s portrayal as the former Chief Minister is bang on target. Right from the look to the style of speaking, Mammootty has aced it perfectly and fans of the Malayalam megastar are raving about the trailer. Also seen in the trailer is Suhasini Maniratnam who plays the role of Sabitha Indra Reddy in the biopic. Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing YS Raja Reddy who is the father of YS Rajasekhara Reddy while Sudheer Babu will play YS Jagan in Yatra. However, the trailer doesn t reveal any of these characters except Mammootty.

What we also noticed in the trailer was that Mammootty has dubbed for himself and that fact is receiving wide appreciation from fans. Yatra will portray the life of YS Rajasekhara Reddy when he decided to take up a state-wide tour on foot, interacting with common people which eventually helped him win in the elections and become the Chief Minister. The trailer also reveals some important aspects about the tour that YSR had taken up back then. The film is being produced by Vijay Chilla under the banner of 70MM Entertainments. The biopic is slated to be released on February 8 worldwide.
