Tollywood will soon witness the biggest multi-starrer which is being directed by a bigger filmmaker. Rajamouli has taken it upon himself to bring two of the biggest stars in Telugu, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, together for a film which is temporarily titled RRR. The shooting of the film began recently in Hyderabad and saw both the stars working on the first schedule. And as the makers prep up for the second schedule, a piece of news about RRR is going viral which has caught the attention of the world. News has it that the film will be set in the 1930s and will be a period drama. This information about the project came out after the music composer of the film MM Keeravani revealed during an interview what kind of music the film would present. Keeravani was promoting his upcoming biggie NTR Kathanayakudu and said that the music would have period and contemporary feel to it. And going by this, it is being speculated that a part of the story will be set in the 1930s.

It is also being said that Jr NTR and Ram Charan will be seen playing the thickest of friends in the film and the theme of the plot will have a Magadheera-like treatment to it. The makers are yet to sign on the female lead actresses for the film and quite a few names are doing the rounds in the Telugu film circle. Keerthy Suresh, Kiara Advani, Pooja Hegde, Samantha Akkineni and many actresses are in the long list of speculations.
