Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel has been away from the limelight since quite some time now. Her last flick, Bhaiaji Superhit, that released in 2018, was in the making since 2011. On the other hand, her home production, Desi Magic has been put on the backburner as well. However, 2019 can bring a silver lining for the actress, as she has signed her next project. BollywoodLife has landed this exclusive piece of information that Patel has signed her next, which is a feature film, and her fans are in for a treat as the actress will be seen as a femme fatale. Titled The Great Indian Casino, the project is directed by Rupesh Paul, who is best known for directing the 2015 film, Kamasutra 3D. "The makers have been trying to get Patel on board since some time. She was signed 3 days ago and would soon kickstart the filming of the project," confirmed a reliable source close to the development.
Talking about the movie, the source reveals that "it is a mix of neo-noir and Poliziotteschi and Patel's character would be more like Eva Green's from Sin City." BollywoodLife has also learnt that movie will feature an ensemble cast. Bigg Boss fame Gizel Thakral, Asif Basra, Yateen Karyekar, Pankaj Berry, Deepraj Rana, Sanjay Gandhi, Rajesh Khera, Anant Jog, Sunil Bob are the actors who will play prominent roles in the narrative. The first schedule of the movie has been completed with the other cast members excluding Patel, who is still remembered for her roles in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai and Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The hunt for the male lead is still on. So we will have to wait and watch as to which actor will be finalised opposite Patel for her next.
