The wait is over fellas! Emraan Hashmi's Cheat India trailer is here and like we told you, it has Emraan under a lens that we haven't seen till date. Making a departure from the 'serial kisser' typecast with an interesting, fleshed out character who can easily be touted as the newest Robinhood in the bloc. He has a new look, a new perspective and it is sure to grab your attention. Not to mention, it finally feels like we will see more of Emraan, the actor who has not been utilised beyond murder-mystery/supernatural concoctions. Talking about the trailer, it takes one through the skewed money-minded middleman who is all up for making money from rich, spoilt brats in order to fill pockets of brilliant minds who need the money. And then starts the trade of certificates for cash! He is unapologetic and unabashed and definitely not preachy. For, mind you, with a clean moustache and a teeka on his head, Emraan's character does what he does. He is not here to raise voice against the prevalent loopholes, but instead count notes while he can. Apart from the newfound grey gravitas, the character also seemingly goes through an arc, when the second part of the trailer hints at a tragical juncture. The film has been directed by Soumik Sen, who had made Gulab Gang before this. It is produced by the makers of Neerja and Tumhari Sulu and that's not even the best part about it. Apart from Emraan, Shreya Dhanwanthary is playing a pivotal part in the movie and it's all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2019. So, how excited are you for this one?
