Despite Simmba's dominance, Yash's KGF continues its steady run at the box office

Despite the dominance of Ranveer Singh's Simmba, Yash's KGF has managed to remain rock-steady at the box office. The period gangster drama raked in Rs 5.25 crore in its second weekend and now stands with the grand total of Rs 26.70 crore. Looking at the current trend, we are expecting the film to cross Rs 30 crore mark by the end of its second week at the ticket windows.

Apparently, the film has performed better than Shah Rukh Khan's Zero at the box office, which is quite surprising for the trade experts as the screen count of KGF was less than half of Aanand L Rai directorial venture. Since the film has received rave reviews from the movie buffs, we are hoping the film to remain rock-steady at the ticket windows. Talking about the reviews, our critic Urmimala Banerjee gave the film three stars and wrote, "Bollywood has made heroes out of many gangsters and this role should be a landmark one for Kannada superstar Yash. Engrossing content, super production values and an interesting premise for chapter two makes this a tantalising gangster flick." Anyway, have you liked the film? Tweet to us...
